National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC)
National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) is a nationwide Science Communication programme started in the year 1993. It is a programme of National Council for Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC), Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi.
INSPIRE Award
The Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India, offers several flagship programs, one of which is Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE). The goal of the DST-National Innovation Foundation – India (NIF), an independent body of DST, initiative INSPIRE – MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge), which is being implemented, is to inspire students in grades 6 through 10. The program’s goal is to identify one million unique concepts or inventions with scientific foundations and practical applications in order to encourage schoolchildren to think creatively and innovatively. Schools can use this website to submit the top five student inventions or unique ideas as part of this program.
